My name is Dwayne Bowman, and I am the owner of East Coast Laser Design (East Coast Hats). What started as a hobby during the COVID-19 lockdowns has grown into a small business built around creativity, craftsmanship, and a passion for making unique products. I like to call it “man crafting”—taking raw materials and turning them into custom pieces that people can use, enjoy, and be proud of.

East Coast Laser Design began in 2022 with the purchase of my first laser engraver during a COVID-19 lockdown. I started by creating personalized cutting boards, coasters, and other engraved gifts. As my skills and equipment grew, so did the business. Over time, I found my niche in custom leather patch hats, engraved tumblers, and branded merchandise for businesses and organizations.

With more than 20 years working in the construction industry, I know firsthand that people love a good hat. That’s one of the reasons leather patch hats quickly became a major part of the business. A quality hat gets worn every day on job sites, in trucks, at the rink, and around town. As I always say, “It’s better than a business card.” A business card often ends up in a drawer, but a great hat turns your customers and employees into walking advertisements for your brand.

Today, East Coast Laser Design helps businesses, sports teams, community groups, and individuals create custom products that stand out. Whether it’s a single personalized gift or a large order of leather patch hats and branded swag, my goal is to provide high-quality products with an East Coast touch and service that people can count on.
